THE Solution

Firstly I highly recommend watching part 6 of my Cannabis Hemp Series titled What is Natural Law and the Myth of Authority? This is what I refer to as THE solution.

There is something very fundamental about the knowledge of objective morality/Natural Law & the myth of authority that absolutely plays into this information about hemp and a part of/if not THE solution to the current state of our world. As you have come to hear much of the prohibitive laws surrounding this plant touch on very basic principles about freedom and it is important that everyone understands the correlation between morality and liberty.

Other Solutions

One of the best and also the simplest solutions to facing this current situation, although it may seem fairly insignificant, is to disseminate the information. People cannot begin to understand the true nature of the world we live in, if the facts aren’t readily available to them. The first step is to educate ones self and then others. Start conversations with people, print off leaflets, hand out documentaries, recommend books. There is a good chance some of this effort will seem wasted and it may fall on deaf ears, but just like, the rule of 7, sometimes it takes people hearing the same information multiple times from multiple people before they begin to re-evaluate their world view. Its also worth mentioning that we don’t need to convert everyone, just enough people to tip the balance and then the flood gates will open and the truth will set us all free.

Another fairly obvious solution is for people to start growing, buying and using hemp products in their everyday lives. As well as supporting the businesses, organisations and farmers that sell, support and grow hemp. This is truly the only way that hemp can begin to repair our environment. The more demand there is for hemp, the more that will have to be grown and in turn the cheaper the products will become. More land used for hemp means that soil quality will improve; less agricultural chemicals can be used; less trees would have to be cut down and oil drilling, fracking and other destructive practises (with its associated pollution) can be made obsolete.

It is down to the everyday habits of everyday people voting with their actions; what they choose to buy; who they choose to support; what they consume (physically and mentally) that will ultimately change the world. See its not just about how we spend our money (although that certainly helps) but how we choose to spend our time.

Hemp Books

These are some of the books used to create the 7 part Cannabis Hemp Series. The top 4 books are great all round books looking at cannabis and hemp from many different angles.

They are of course ‘The Emperor Wears No Clothes’ by Jack Herer. This book has been considered the bible of hemp and jack himself was often referred to as the Emperor of Hemp. He is responsible for the resurgence of this historical evidence of the use of hemp in the modern day. The huge amount of research Jack did in order to create this book was also ingeniously added as an appendix to the book. So the majority of the editions of the book (NOT 12th) allowed the reader to dive into the research without the need for visiting a library or researching online. He also founded and served as director of HEMP (Help End Marijuana Prohibition).

‘The Great Book of Hemp’ by Rowan Robinson. He is a writer, journalist, and explorer who first learned of the many uses of hemp whilst living in Kashmir in the 1950s. He has been a hemp activist ever since. He also wrote a pocket sized version called ‘The Hemp Manifesto: 101 Ways Hemp Can Save Our World’ which at around 100 pages is ideal way to pass on the information to anyone and everyone.

‘Hemp Lifeline to the Future’ by Chris Conrad. Chris Conrad is an author, activist, curator, publisher and court-recognized expert in cannabis cultivation and use. He has played a key role in the shaping of the modern industrial and medical cannabis reform movements. He was the co-founder and first President of the Hemp Industries Association (HIA), founder of the Business Alliance in Commerce and Hemp (BACH), and a signature gathering coordinator for the Proposition 215 volunteer effort which made California the first US state to legalize the medical use of cannabis. The December 1999 issue of High Times ranked Conrad #10 on its list of the top 25 “living legends in the battle for legal cannabis”.

‘Weed of Wonder’ Was a collaborative effort written by Jules Marshall and Floris Leeuwenberg in cooperation Ben Dronkers and Gerbrand Korevaar. Ben Dronkers was the founder of Sensi Seeds Company and the Hash Cannabis Hemp Museum which is considered the largest permanent exhibition of artifacts related to cannabis and hemp. Gerbrand Korevaar is a Dutch art historian and curator, best known as the curator and manager of the Hash Marihuana & Hemp Museums in Amsterdam and Barcelona.

The bottom 5 books are about hemp for health or as a medicine and also about hemp as a building material. And of course the aforementioned Alcohol Can Be a Gas? By David Blume.

Hemp Documentaries

This is a list of some highly recommended documentaries mostly about Cannabis Hemp but also about the ‘War On Drugs’ in general.

The top two are documentaries about the lives of two very influential Cannabis hero’s, Which I have already mentioned, Jack Herer, the Hemperor himself and Rick Simpson with his famous RSO (Rick Simpson Oil).

The Hemp solution is a great documentary outlining all the many uses of hemp.

Bringing it home is looking at the efforts in the U.S. to make hemp legal again (before the 2018 farm bill) and also takes a look at some of the farmers growing hemp in Europe particularly the UK.

Most of the others are about the War on Drugs and the ramifications for society of the continuing police state as well as some of the medical uses of cannabis especially the last one ‘What if Cannabis Cured Cancer’.

The Culture High has some very famous faces in it such as Howard Marks, Joe Rogan, Snoop Dogg and Richard Branson as well as Professor David Nutt (the ex-drug adviser to the UK government) and Dr Gabor Mate (a well known author and addiction specialist) and Dr Lester Grinspoon (Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry, Harvard) as well as many other professionals involved in aspects of the drug war – police, intelligence, law, social sciences and government.

Most of these are available online for free on YouTube or can be streamed via certain streaming platforms. My resource document has links to all of these as well.

Other Reading

These are books and essays that I consider recommended reading to understand the current state of our world. Its mostly late 19th,20th and 21st Century history outlining the characters, events and ultimately the ideology that has helped to bring about the monopolistic control of society and the suppression of human freedom.

The topics include – natural law, government/the myth of authority, freedom, communism, central banks, imperialism, globalism, war (particularly WW1), psychology, propaganda, mind control/social engineering, technocracy, the medical establishment, the food systems/big agra and the educational systems. Just to say here as with the documentaries I’ve suggested all these books and documentaries are available online for free either on youtube or pdf books from archive.org which are all included in my resource document. When possible I highly recommend supporting the creators of these works. Whether that’s buying a physical copy or supporting the authors or film-makers in other ways such as donating to their new projects or recommending their work to others.

Hemp Organisations

If you would like more information about Cannabis Hemp please visit these organisations.

The top two, the British Hemp Alliance and the Cannabis Industry Council are UK based. The Cannabis Industry Council website has a members tab where you can search for organisations (within the UK and EU) by they’re particular field within the Cannabis Industry. For example the hemp tab provides all of the organisations that advocating for or are producing hemp products.

The European Industrial Hemp Association (EIHA) is the only pan-European membership organization in the industrial hemp sector. They equally represent the interest of hemp producing and processing companies.

The bottom two are both US based. The Hemp Industries Association (HIA) is a non profit trade group representing hemp companies, researchers and supporters in the US and Canada. The group petitions for fair and equal treatment of industrial hemp. Since 1994, the HIA has been dedicated to education, industry development, and the accelerated expansion of hemp world market supply and demand.

Lastly there is Vote Hemp a Washington DC based grass roots non-profit working since 2000 to bring hemp farming back in the U.S.. These are just a few of the many different advocacy groups and organisations all around the world promoting, educating and lobbying for the benefits of Cannabis Hemp. A simple search will provide you with some that are within your local area. They can all do with our support.

Hemp for Health

An easy one for anyone to start with and I’m sure any decent wholefood shop or even supermarkets would sell which is hulled hemp seed and hempseed oil. The hulled seed without its outer shell can be added to literally any meal and the hempseed oil can similarly be added to any meal where an unheated oil is required or simply taken as a supplement all of its own.

The whole seed can also be eaten but due to the outer shell this is better to be roasted. It can be eaten directly as a snack or added along side roasted vegetables to give the meal some texture.

Hemp milk is also an incredibly easy milk substitute to make. The hulled or whole seed can be used. A couple of tablespoons of the seed mixed with water and blended for 1 minute makes hemp milk. The hulled seed needs no further process, the whole seed would need straining to remove the outer shell. Add more seed if you prefer a creamer or more of a whole milk substitute.

This milk is also able to make a variety of other dairy and meat replacements (very similar to soy). Cheese, butter and meat substitutes that have high levels of protein, fat as well as other vitamins & minerals makes it a perfect replacement in your diet. Not many companies are producing these products unfortunately so if this is something that you are interested in why not look at making your own, or better yet start a company producing these products.

Adding hempseed and oil to your diet is an amazing way to begin to reap the health benefits of this miracle plant and it is a solution we can all implement today!

Take Away

I hope you can begin to understand how useful the cannabis plant has been throughout history and begin to see the concerted efforts of the ‘powers that most definitely shouldn’t be’ to control this miracle plant; monopolise on its prohibition; whilst simultaneously using it as a method to control people and ultimately a means to destroy human freedom.

The same fascist politicians and bureaucrats that said –

“Casual drug users should be taken out and shot.”

“I have no problem with beheading marijuana users.”

“Marijuana punishment should include severing of hands, arms, feet and legs.”

“This marijuana causes white women to seek sexual relations with Negroes.”

“Reefer makes darkies think they’re as good as white men.”

“You smoke a joint and you’re likely to kill your brother.”

have little care for truth, their very lively hoods depended on people not realising the truth.

The truth that this very plant—cannabis, hemp, marijuana (the same planet that throughout all of human history hasn’t caused one recorded death) effectively has the ability to reverse or solve many of the problems the world and humanity is facing today. The question that I then have to ask is…

What do you intend to do about it?
